The Captain's Ride 2017 - taking on Tasmania with the Steve Waugh Foundation
This November I am taking part in The Captain's Ride with the Steve Waugh Foundation and am rallying for your very kind donations. We will ride 850km to raise much needed funds for 400,000 darling Australian children living with rare disease.
My training will involve mostly long-steady to firm rides (50km to 150km), hill repeats up Mount Dandenong and Mount Macedon, velodrome interval work and I will get a couple of local criterium races in for threshold work to make sure these guys don't get a chance to drop me :-0
I will recover in Port Philip Bay as per normal. This will help enormously to manage lower back and keep the legs fresh!!!
From the outset, the idea and motivation of The Captain’s Ride has been clear - to raise significant funds for the foundation, raise awareness about rare diseases and the bravery of the kids who live with them. These key motivators have driven every aspect of The Captain’s Ride.
Your kind support goes towards improving the children's quality of life with vital medical treatment and specialised equipment.

I would be so very grateful if you could sponsor me at my dedicated donations page. Thank you so much for your invaluable contribution!
PS - if you are out on the bike, give me a shout I will join you!
Thanks so much!
